Lead Pastor: James Colgan
James and his wife Leigh live in Streetsville, and have a son Joel, and another child on the way. Together they have a passion to see people come to know Jesus and to live in everything God has for them. It is their joy to see people grow in their relationship with God, discover how they’ve been gifted, and walk in the freedom that comes from knowing God’s grace and His amazing love, and just how powerful He is.
James starting in ministry 15 years ago working with at-risk youth, and since has served in various ministry and leadership roles before leading LifeHouse. Leigh has been a worship leader and bible teacher for almost 20 years. In the fall of 2007 they started an outreach that has now grown into LifeHouse Church.
Worship Team Leader: Anneline Breetzke
Anneline has been writing songs as an expression of worship for over 20yrs. “From the moment I encountered Christ on the 2nd June 1990, worshipping Him has been my passion.”
She has led worship all over the world, from South Africa to Canada to Hong Kong… in big contexts of 1000s to the intimacy of a small lounge with 2 or 3 people… regardless of the size, her God is always worshipped with abandon.
Anneline has just relocated from Hong Kong to Canada. She has released one studio album: ‘Where the Fire Is‘ and is about to release her second – a live album recorded in South Africa July 2011 called ‘Grace Revolution‘.
Life Group Leaders: Darrell & Tammy Keezer
Darrell and Tammy have been married for 5 years and have 3 wonderful kids – Grace (3), Claire (2) and William (1). Darrell has been ministering for 6 years locally in youth ministry and church leadership roles and has traveled extensively on missions throughout Africa and into South America. Both of them have a desire to see people healed physically and emotionally and equipped to live in their full potential in God.
They together have a passion to see people equipped to live to their full potential. Darrell believes that ”God is looking for people who simply listen to the message, and do what is says.”
Life Group Leaders: Alex & Meghan Nicholls
Alex and Meghan have been married since 2008 and lived in Mississauga since 2011.
They both work for non-profit organizations and are committed to responding to Jesus’ call to serve the poor in Canada and around the world. Alex and Meghan view God’s kingdom from an international perspective through marrying cross-culturally and having travelled internationally on humanitarian trips to Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Their desire is for people to follow Jesus and move from religious systems to showing authentic love for God and others. They want to encourage others to live out of their passions and become the best versions of themselves that God intended them to be.
