History

LifeHouse Church has been meeting at Dolphin Senior Public School since November 1, 2009.

While November 1st 2009 was our first public meeting, the church has an interesting history.  In November 2007, James & Leigh Colgan started a Sunday morning breakfast gathering in their townhouse on Falconer Drive in Streetsville.  Young people from the neighbourhood would gather each Sunday morning to make and eat breakfast and talk about God.  Soon, a few other young couples joined and anywhere from 5 to 25 young people would gather each Sunday morning.

In September 2008, God confirmed that this breakfast gathering was to become a new church in Mississauga.  By January 2009, the name LifeHouse Church was chosen.  In the summer of 2009, several more young couples and families joined the church and we moved to a larger house in Meadowvale to accommodate everyone.  It became clear that God was going to grow the church and we needed more space, and in the early fall, God opened the door for us to locate LifeHouse Church at Dolphin Senior Public School in Streetsville (very close to the original townhouse gathering).

Since moving into Dolphin Senior Public School in Streetsville, LifeHouse Church has continued to grow with new individuals and families being added on a regular basis.
