History

LifeHouse Church has been meeting at Dolphin Senior Public School since November 1, 2010.

While November 1st 2010 was our first public meeting, the church has an interesting history of how it was started.  In November 2007 James & Leigh Colgan started a Sunday morning breakfast gathering in their townhouse on Falconer Drive in Streetsvlle.  Young people from the neighbourhood would gather each Sunday morning to make and eat breakfast and talk about God.  Soon a few other young couples joined as well and each Sunday morning anywhere from 5 to 25 young people from the area would gather.

In September 2008 God confirmed that this breakfast gathering was to become a new church in Mississauga.  By  January 2009 the name LifeHouse Church was chosen.  In the summer of 2009 several more young couples and families started to join the church and we had to move to a larger house in Meadowvale to accommodate everyone.  At that time it was clear that God was going to grow the church and we needed more space, and in the early fall God opened the door for us to locate LifeHouse Church at Dolphin Senior Public School in Streetsvlle (very close to the original townhouse gathering).

Since moving into Dolphin Senior Public School in Streetsville, LifeHouse Church has continued to grow with new individuals and families being added on a regular basis.
