Fire Starters Course

Firestarters is a 12 week, group-setting course designed to assist you in becoming a modern-day revivalist; to become a world-changer and history-maker in whatever sphere of influence God has placed you, whether in the marketplace, school, neighborhood, community, or home. The goal is to equip, empower, and activate you in a Kingdom revival lifestyle so that you learn to live naturally supernatural!

 

Firestarters is broken down into 3 sections (4 weeks each); Pursuing Passion, Purpose, and Power with focus on:

  • Become a Naturally Supernatural Christian by
  • Discovering your true identity and destiny
  • Learning how to access God’s power to heal the sick
  • Learning how to hear God’s voice to get encouraging words for people
  • Learning how to access and release God’s passionate fire through the Holy Spirit

This course was written by Kevin Dedmon and is used at Bethel Church among other churches.

 

Schedule:

We are aiming to start the course on February 5th (2 weeks from this Sunday). That way we can end the course by the end of April (with one week break for Easter)! Each session will be scheduled for ~2 hours.

Important Note: The Firestarters course is quite unique in that it requires you to attend all of the sessions / weeks in order to graduate.   If you miss a session you can make it up the next time we run the course.

 

Cost:

There is a cost to the course which will be posted shortly.

Note: If the cost is a concern for you please let us know and we will work something out.

Young Adult BBQ July 13

The Young Adult BBQ will be held at James & Leigh’s house on Tuesday July 13, 2010.  Please bring something you can share with others, food, drink, dessert, etc.  The BBQ will start at 6:30pm.  Our address in Streetsville is 126-6555 Falconer Dr, Mississauga.

Summer Young Adult BBQ’s

The July 13 Young Adult BBQ will be at James & Leigh’s House: 126-6555 Falconer Drive. If you’ve got a folding lawn chair bring it, otherwise we’ve got a few for people. Also bring something that you can share with others (drinks, food, etc).  Any questions give James a call.  Also feel free to bring a friend.

Starting on Tuesday July 6 we’ll be having a Tuesday night Young Adult BBQ at LifeHouse Church. The BBQ’s will be at different homes, but the first BBQ will be hosted at Shane & Tom’s place at 51 Tannery Street in Streetsville.

The BBQ’s will be “bring and share” – which means please bring something you can share with others. Ideas can be drinks, dessert, chips, etc.

The BBQ’s are open to anyone who considers themselves a “young adult”, and it will be a great time to hang out, build friendships, and have some informal discussions.
