Asking God for a Sign

Many times we ask God for a sign – for all kinds of reasons.  Maybe you want to know that He is real, or you have a problem you’re looking for an answer too.  Maybe you are looking for direction in your life and don’t know which way to turn.

Whatever the reason – God wants to communicate with you – and at LifeHouse church we want to help you develop an intimate relationship with God – one where you will know how to get answers from Him – everyday.

I want to invite you to come out next Sunday to LifeHouse Church and begin an amazing journey of developing an intimate relationship with God.  Whether you are single or a family, and regardless of your age, it’s never too early or too late to get to know God better.

And we’re not just focused on adults. we also have great ways we work with kids and teenagers to help them develop a more intimate relationship with God, with specific groups for 3-6 year old’s and 7-11 year olds, plus a Friday night group for grades 6-8 and 9-12.  If you’re already out of school we’ve got some great groups specific to young adults, and many groups that cater to everyone.

People describe LifeHouse Church with words like “Refreshing”, “Powerful”, “Loving”, and almost everyone remarks that when they come into our Sunday worship gatherings, they immediately can sense God’s presence.

I can tell you that those already at LifeHouse looks forward to having the opportunity to meet you, and God looks forward to you getting to know Him better.

Moms And Kids Summer Fun Days

LifeHouse Church in Mississauga is planning  fun get togethers for the Moms and Kids every Friday morning over the summer. Everyone (with or without kids)  is welcome to join us and invite friends, family and neighbors.  It will be a time for the kids to play together and the Moms to chat and get to know each other better. We’ll meet at parks in Streetsville and Meadowvale, conservation areas, splash pads and homes.  Send your suggestions about great kid friendly places you know of. Moms will need to bring everything their kids will need including snacks, sunscreen etc.

Please contact Leigh if you are interested with suggestions or for more details.  If you don’t have her e-mail contact her via the “Contact Us” section of the website.

Venue Change For Tonights Meeting With Steve Backlund

We have had many inquiries from people who want to attend our meeting tonight with Steve Backlund so we have changed the venue for the meeting to accommodate more people.

We will be meeting at the Co-op Centre in our complex.  The street address is the same (6555 Falconer Drive) but the unit number is now Unit 1.  There are several visitor parking spaces beside the co-op centre (also additional parking on Falconer Drive).  We will also have 4 students from the Bethel School of Ministry who will be ministering to people as well.  It’s going to be a great night!

Art Night – Friday April 1

LifeHouse will be hosting it’s 2nd Artist Night on Friday April 1st.  This is a great night to come out and explore your creativity and spend time with other experienced or not-so-experienced artists.  Kids who are interested in art are welcome as well.  You need to bring your own art supplies (which can be cheaply purchased at Dollarama).

Location: Vista Heights Public School in Streetsville

Time: 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Date: Friday April 1, 2011
